So long as he doesn't ask me out on a date, or try to have sex with me, I could care less what he does in his bedroom. In fact I actually appreciate the fact that he has kept this private.
You obviously didn't read my whole post, so i would reread it again before you make a comment about me. You don't know me so I would refrain from leaving comments like that about anyone. I happen to be a white collar professional who works in the advertising business (b to B to be precise) who is sick and tired of supporting people who DON"T want to support them selves.
If you haven't noticed it is usually to bring attention to specific words... But hey, if that is all you can do to make an intelligent post on the subject, I seriously feel sorry for you.. Perhaps you could actually use your brain to make an actual logical thought or post..
Pretty funny how when the truth hurts, the only thing kids like you can do is try to find a typo or miss spelled word as some sort of argument... Gary if you are inept to converse in a civil or mature manor why bother posting.. Childish flame baiting is for kids silly wabbit..

You really ARE in your mid-forties? Hmm. Well, the "apostrophe" discussion seemed to grow to include grammar and spelling, I thought. You know, the day may come when we have to rely on our own knowledge and skills--not a computer's. Even with spell-check and the other "helpers" we have available when we write, it doesn't seem like people care to use them. This comment is really not for you, per se--it's for all the people who don't think clearly about this subject. The public use of the English language in the U.S. is an embarrassment. Our children and theirs will follow our lead, as they do in so many things. If we don't care if we look stupid and illiterate, they won't either. Do you think it's right to limit the choices young people will have when they try to make their way in the world? That's what is happening. It's not the end of the world if they can't get a decent job, but it makes the world much smaller, in terms of opportunities. The discussion was about FAR more than the apostrophe--and we "grown-ups"need to grow up and have some pride. You probably think I'm a big loser, but that makes no difference in my life, because I've used my education to open a world of opportunities. Being an American temporarily living in Europe has shown me the way many people in the rest of the world see us--and it's not so pretty. We should remember that our place of power and respect globally is not automatic, and if we seem stupid and lazy to the world, we won't have the same things to offer our young people that were there for us. Seriously--many, many people think Americans are uneducated, illiterate, stupid, greedy, lazy people who take the world for granted. We are what we seem to be to those who don't know us and don't live in the United States. Doesn't anybody get that we are losing our place in the world? Truly--we need to have some pride and standards--in our use of our language as much as anything else.
